Holiday Shores Design
The Holiday Shores Condotel design includes studio, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom and 2 - bedroom with loft condos. All condos provide a highly efficient design and come unfurnished. The option of utilizing our decorating service and coming completely decorated and furnished with beautiful, high durability furnishing (required with participation in the condotel rental program) is available. Convertible furniture, that adapts to your needs for daytime or nighttime use and that adds to the functionality of the studios or other units, is available. Convertible furniture options including wall-beds with built in sofas, (some with storage), Murphy beds, convertible sofas and coffee tables, that convert to dining tables will make your condo even more livable and enjoyable for you and your guests. When you step outside, you'll find your own private deck overlooking the Mississippi River, so you'll have a view of the River and the sun rising over the many small islands and wooded shoreline as you wake early to enjoy another day. To the west is the City of McGregor, itself seemingly just awakened like Rip Van Winkle from a long sleep and beyond that, the tree covered hills that come alive with color during the Fall. At this stage of development we ask that readers review the planned suite amenities lists located above and complete the Suite/Facility Amenities Questionnaire. By commenting on planned and suggesting additional suite amenities that you would like, your ideas will help to shape the Holiday Shores Condotel. Some may prefer a condotel arrangement with condos that are rented when they are not using them and luxury surrounds, others may prefer not renting their condos and more simple accomodations with less ammenities at a lower cost of condos and maintenance. During the development stage, your comments will help determine the direction that the Holiday Shores Condotel takes. The condo layouts provide maximum flexibility that adapts to the needs of the owners and renters. Holiday Shores' condos can be purchased and rented individually or combined with adjoining condos to create a larger space for families and groups. The drawings are draft as of July 2007 and are subject to change however the concept of offering flexibility to our owners and guests to meet their needs will remain constant. During the development and through presales phases, floor plans are flexible, allowing some customization of individual condos and combining adjoining condos to create larger custom designed units; so be creative as you dream. All condo designs can be adapted to be "Senior Friendly" to assist with the living and physical requirements of seniors. These "Senior Friendly" designs are usable by all ages but provide older residents with the special accomodations they require, assuring them a comfortable and safe place to call home. Accomodations such as strategically placed grab bars, increased lighting, improved floor treatments to aid in visibility, walk-in bathtubs can be included to help assure that our residents will be able to enjoy their Holiday Shores condos for many years to come. In addition to our focus on the Holiday Shores Condotel ammenities for the enjoyment of our guests. Special attention has been paid to protecting the health and welfare of both our guests and the environment through "Green" building design and construction. The Holiday Shores Condotel design is planned to include: - Hydrothermal Heating that extracts heat from ground water
- On Demand Hot Water Heaters to conserve energy
- Photovoltaic Cells that generate electricity from from the sun
- Permeable Paving to minimize runoff from rain and snowmelt
